Group classes are a great way to dip your toe, or fully immerse yourself into the experience of making music. Group classes are an appealing experience for many folks because they just have so many positive attributes: they are sociable since you’ll be making music with other participants, they build musicianship through group playing, and typically they are more cost-friendly than private lessons. Conveniently, once a group class is over, you aren’t obligated to continue, which is a perk for some folks (especially those who are only here for the summer!)! These reasons, and plenty more, are why we offer a variety of unique, engaging, and super fun programs, that are sure to leave you with lasting memories. Whether you are just starting out, are returning to music after a long break, or are wanting to try something new with the change in season, PMM has got you covered with our 2026 summer programs!
SUMMER CAMPS
For under-19 students, we offer summer camps specifically designed to maximize the awesomeness of your summer. 2026 summer camps include songwriting, recording, and musical theatre!
Intro To Songwriting Summer Camp

Musical Theatre Camp is back this year and ready to support youth aged 12-18 develop their musical theatre skills through acting, singing, blocking, and more!
Summer Group Classes and Drop-Ins
We also offer flexible drop-in programs as well as weekly group sessions to suit most folks summer-time scheduling needs. Summer is a great time to explore a new genre or sub-genre within the musical skill you’ve already acquired!

Back for a second summer in a row, is PMM’s extreme vocal workshop, Summer of Screams! This drop-in friendly class is designed to welcome singers with any singing background, to explore a variety of unclean vocal techniques with guidance from our extreme vocal specialist Kelsey.

And finally, for the curious and rhythmically-inclined adults in our midst, we offer a percussion and hand drum program on Mondays!
Morning Music & Play

A music and movement class tailored especially for babies, tots & preschoolers. This morning class will include songs and rhymes, instruments to try, easy movements and dancing. A small class size keeps the experience community oriented, cozy, and maintains an excellent participant-to-teacher ratio.
Adult Percussion and Hand Drums

Introducing a brand new program tailored for beginner to intermediate percussionists! This spring and summer, join teacher Arturo for a super fun hand-drum and percussion class. As a group, participants will explore healthy technique, rhythm patterns, and enjoy making a bunch of organized noise together on Mondays!
