FRONT DESK – ADMIN ASSISTANT
JOB TYPE: P/T, 8-12 hours a week to start (with room to grow)
PAY RATE: HOURLY $19/hour
REPORTS TO: Owners & Studio Manager

BACKGROUND: PMM is a small but mighty music school located in the trendy South Granville neighbourhood of Vancouver. We offer private one-on-one music lessons to youth and adults all year round, as well as seasonal group classes. As a result of our consistent, and continued growth, we are in need of a front desk admin assistant to join us on site at our studio HQ in Vancouver. This contracted position will cover 2-4 shifts or about 8-20 hours per week regularly. Since this is a public facing role, this job is not suitable for remote working. Ideal candidates will have excellent interpersonal skills, maintain high standards for customer and studio experience, enjoy interacting with the public including parents, teachers, and students of all ages. Some familiarity with the process of taking music lessons is beneficial to this role.
PERSONAL ASSISTANT – SCHEDULING (INTERNSHIP)
JOB TYPE: P/T, 8-12 hours per week, from April to July 2026
PAY RATE: UNPAID ($500 honorarium)
REPORTS TO: Owners & Studio Manager

PMM is a small but mighty music school located in the trendy South Granville neighbourhood of Vancouver. As a result of our consistent, and continued growth, we are in need of a Personal Assistant (PA) to support our teaching staff with scheduling. This internship will take place over a maximum of 3 days a week, or up to a maximum of 12 hours per week. This job is suitable for some remote working (up to 1-day a week), though training will take place entirely in person at our Vancouver studio location. Ideal candidates will have some familiarity with or interest in learning about event scheduling and Google business suite. They will ideally possess excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and a team-oriented mentality. Benefits to taking on this internship include: hands-on training in music-specific industry. Training on the use of modern digital scheduling tools. Training on best-practices of calendar schedule coordinating. An honorarium will be provided at the end of the internship in July 2026.
